I only expect one or two people to be able to master all three items for irrational numbers by the end of the day. Good luck! If you do, you can move on to systems recovery below. I will be giving out prizes.
1) Bronze: Practice identifying rational and irrational numbers on Khan Academy.
2) Silver: It's a good idea to start practicing approximating irrational numbers.
3) Gold: Not the most important practice problems but definitely interesting! Use hints to uncover some of the tricks. Recognizing rational and irrational expressions.
Cube Roots
Bronze: find the cube roots.
Silver: Exponent properties review.
Then ...
SYSTEMS RECOVERY
We have been solving systems of equations using three methods. Now you are going to continue learning on Khan Academy by practicing your systems of equations skills:
1) Graphing systems of equations
2) Solving systems with substitution --> REALLY HARD but you can do it.
3) Solving systems using combination (elimination) --> Easier
4) Solving systems using multiplication and combination (elimination) --> Harder
5) A true test of your algebraic skills and understanding: Solve systems using both methods (don't follow its instructions, use your best judgment on which method to use.
6) Determine how many solutions exist for each system. You CHOOSE which method to use. Use your notes from lesson 88 to help.
7) Solving inconsistent systems
8) Systems of equations word problems
9) Understanding systems of equations word problems
10) Graphing systems of inequalities
11) Graphing and solving systems of inequalities
